Business Development Manager – Government & Defence

Role and Responsibilities

  • Proactively sourcing new leads developing pipeline and discussing customer requirements
  • Drive significant new revenue growth through strategic prospecting, direct sales, and business development activities.
  • Nurture relationships with stakeholders within Defence & Government
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of test and measurement solutions
  • Analyse customer structure, plan and strategically develop plans for success
  • Building and maintaining influential networks within customer community
  • Attend relevant events, exhibitions and conferences understanding intel and trends

Experience required

  • Knowledge of defence, federal and state government
  • Experience contributing to Bids, Tenders or Proposals
  • Relevant customer facing experience in technical or commercial role
  • Ideally time spent within military or government organisation
